HorseWorld is the visitor centre for the neighbouring National Equine Welfare Council sanctuary. At HorseWorld visitors can learn about horses and other animals, there are plenty of chances to pet and groom the furry, four-legged residents.

This magnificent Victorian steam ship first launched as a passenger liner in 1843. It cruised the waves of the seas for 45 years, taking French troops from Malta to Crimea, as well as emigrants to North America and Australia. Now moored at the dry dock where she was built visitors can look over for themselves the first ship to have an iron hull and screw propeller.
